About Femicare

Who is Femicare? 

Welcome to Femicare, a pioneering research center founded by Prof. dr. G. Donders and dr. V. Van Gerven, dedicated to advancing women’s health through cutting-edge research and innovation. At Femicare, we are committed to the overall health and well-being of women in all its aspects. We focus on women's autonomous, reproductive, sexual, family and social roles in society. We achieve this through scientific clinical studies, organising information sessions and conferences, promoting relaxation and recreation, and supporting maternity and mother-child care. Adittionaly, we publish informative literature, design and maintain informative computer programmes, provide expert advice and education to healthcare providers and researchers, and work to improve living conditions.

Activities

To achieve these goals, Femicare engages in three types of research activities:

• Setting up and designing studies.
• Providing support for or overseeing ongoing research.
• Participating in industry-driven studies.
